Live on Pouchitis. Live on!

Because I’d never want you to feel missed. So back on cipro since i had pouchitis come back. Amazing what a horse pill can do to change the way you feel. I can concur the world on cipro! Lol

One day I will not need to have love affairs with anti-biotics. This pouch will get with it, eventually.

  1. Hello Vanessa, My name is Mike. I got my BCIR (I refer to it as BICK’er) Oct 20th, Olympia Med Center in LA. Dr Schiller is the surgeon there along with his administrator, Tillie Huber. Super great people. I attended the QLA seminar in Reno last August, and decided after talking with Dr. Schiller, Dr. Rehnke, Susan Kay, Tillie Huber and 25 or so other BCIR’s, to get rid of my external pouch. (I had a good colon and then within a year the fucker was gone) Most days I’d say it was a great decision. The days with nasty pouchitis – YIKES. Here’s an invitation to this year’s QLA conference in St. Petersburg, FL (Tradewinds Resort) Sept 20-22nd). Also, one of my kids lives down in McKinney, TX., so one day maybe we could meet for coffee (no cinnamon!). Also, I’m registered onto the BCIR.com message board as mikeg. You could PM me there and I could give you my email, phone #.

In the days of my youth, I was told what it means to be a man. Now I’ve reached that age I’ve tried to do all those things the best I can. No matter how I try, I find my way to the same old jam. Good times, bad times,
